I really love my job. Now there are days where I love my job, and then there are days like this session where I get to see my client’s growing up in front of my eyes, and it brings it all together for me. I first met this awesome family when baby Tyler was only 3 months old. Then I got to see them all again (and their cousins!) for a sunflower session which became one of my favorites from all of 2010. Today I met up with them again for Tyler’s 1st birthday and I get a little teary eyed when I think of how quickly this time passes for us moms. Big sister Morgan is stunningly beautiful, and also hilarious – her side comments she kept chiming in during our walk kept me cracking up. There were forces fighing against us today (the park we were photographing at decided that THIS was the day they would pave the parking lot – so we had to hike!) but the sun came out and the weather warmed up enough for us to really enjoy the morning together. Happy Birthday Tyler – and Morgan you are a wonderful big sister!

I had such a great time with this gorgeous couple as we wandered around downtown Frederick for their maternity session. Justin is hilarious and is so so so so so in love with beautiful mom-to-be Lakiya, and they both seem so excited (and prepared!) for their baby boy to be born soon. Lakiya was totally glowing the entire time too – with the cutest baby bump EVER! I cant wait for their babies portion of their bellies & babies session, and to meet their baby boy. I cant get enough of these adorable frames!! Here’s another example of how my clients are creating gorgeous wall galleries using their images and my new offerings of Organic Bloom frames. Beautiful newborn Tessa was such an amazingly cute baby! She cuddled and cooed, smiled and slept – such an incredible girl! Mom and dad were awesome too…within minutes we realized we had so many things in common, and I felt like her mom and I were old friends just catching up! Their home is so full of love and warmth and as you can see below, they have one pretty incredible nursery (her mom made many of the items herself – including the bird mobile!) Tessa was so beautiful and adorable – she was a dream baby to photograph!

I’ve been so excited to share this with you – an incredibly gorgeous album that I actually remembered to photograph this time before delivering it to a client! This is my luxe album that is included with my bellies & babies package as well as at the end of all my baby planner’s sessions, and can be created for every client session.

This album began with beautiful images, and then we used their home decor to come up with the layout and design, as well as pick the gorgeous gold cover. Everything came together perfectly and this is going to look stunning on their coffee table for years to come.
