I was so happy to see this beautiful family again for their maternity session, as they anxiously await the arrival of their baby girl! I photographed them this fall at a beautiful outdoor park and so this session we went inside and focused on the growing family being themselves, and of course the perfect baby bump! I cant believe how big the girls are growing and how sweet and beautiful they are. They love playing together and laughing and jumping – everything little ones love to do! They have the sweetest personalities and are so excited about being big sisters. Enjoy these sneak peeks of this beautiful family!

I have been so busy this fall that I’ve neglected to come in and post about a few exciting things going on personally with me! First and foremost is that our family is so proud and SO excited to announce we’re expecting a baby girl this March! Heath is excited to be a big brother and we are looking forward to becoming a family of 4. It’s been so fun to be back in the pregnant stage of babies again, and to relate with my maternity and newborn clients on a whole different and closer level since I’m right there with them again! I am currently booking for 2012 sessions and will be taking a short maternity leave from the middle of March until May (with a few exceptions) so if you’re interested in booking a winter or spring session I definitely recommend contacting me now as I’m filling up fast!!

While I still have just a few holiday sessions still to do for 2011, I have to say it has been an INCREDIBLE fall and I have had SO.MUCH.FUN photographing my client’s holiday photos this year. I have met amazing families and seen such love and joy – it makes my job so rewarding and meaningful to me, so thank you all for going with me on that journey. Here’s one photo from my house to yours – from our Christmas tree we just put up this week(and which heath has tried to destroy nightly) and one sneak peek from our own holiday photos that Dave helped me take the other day. Just like so many of my clients’ – I rarely get to be IN the photos so I cherish every picture taken of me with my son and family. So even though I really need to brush my hair, and you can only partially see my baby bump – it’s us!

There is so much excitement in this family over their new baby brother arriving soon! These big sisters were SO happy to be having a little baby sibling that they couldnt stop smiling. Mom was absolutely glowing – her cute baby bump along with her natural beauty combined to make an incredibly stunning session. It was a spectacularly beautiful day here at Sugarloaf Mountain in Frederick, MD – the trees were red and gold and just breathtaking. This family’s natural fun and beauty went right along side of such a gorgeous setting. Enjoy these sneak peeks and your soon to arrive new baby!

If this photosession were a fairy tale, Cameron would definitely be Snow White. Not only did she fit the part with a cute bob and perfect porcelain skin, but her husband and her have a happily ever after story with a sweet baby girl due in 2 weeks! We found ourselves on a gorgeous day wandering around the Thanksgiving Farms orchard in Frederick, MD – and these two were definitely fairy tale material. Their love was infectious – they had me laughing and smiling all day – and they are already so in love with their soon to arrive little girl. The light was sunny and warm, the apples smelled sweet in the trees, and Cameron as a jewelry designer had impeccable tastes in accessories and design ideas! I cant wait to photograph their little pumpkin in a few weeks when she arrives – enjoy these sneak peeks for now!

This weekend I met the cutest family – super excited and joyful about their new baby arriving soon! This family was so sweet and happy around each other, totally laid back and fun, and mama couldnt have been cuter with her adorable baby bump! I was so excited when she said she’d be adventurous and be up for wading into a local river – and I’m so happy she did because the resulting images are some of my favorites! I think you can see the beginning hints of fall on the horizon here – which makes the perfect introduction to this fall baby about to arrive!
