I was so excited with these images that I couldnt help myself but posting their sneak peek today (a few hours after our session!) This family is so warm and patient and HAPPY! Little Emma had us all laughing as she ran through the fields (a LOOOONG way away), tossed leaves into the air and chased after ladybugs. Big sis Kelsey is so incredibly beautiful – inside and out. She was so patient and kind with her sister, and genuinely was such a sweet person to hang out with for the afternoon. This family is the real deal – and I’m so excited to share their beautiful session’s sneak peeks with you! Enjoy!

This family was so much fun to photograph! From jumping on their trampoline, to playing hockey in their driveway, to running through piles of leaves – these kids were so authentic, adorable and fun. I loved their outfits and fun personalities, and we played most of the time just having fun and letting them be themselves (the best!) These kids were so welcoming and friendly too – they talked all about how excited they were about halloween, and at one point I was even introduced to their pet hampster! Enjoy the sneak peeks of these beautiful kids!

I love seeing families year after year – watching the children grow up, learn to walk and then talk…it’s amazing. I first met Callie when she was only a baby, and then saw her grow to a gorgeous 1 year old. This year’s portraits took on a whole other level of fun because she is 2 and ADORABLE! She is talking up a storm (she even described the moss on a bench as a ‘lichen’) – I mean how cool is that?! She ran all over the place laughing and would love when her mom and dad would sing to her (and offer her an occasional jellybean). I was smiling this entire session and I am excited to share these sneak peeks with you all!

Enjoy!

I have been a bad mommy photographer and rarely take any session photos with my own baby anymore. I take weekly snapshot photos with my awesome pocket point and shoot camera (which unfortunately broke at the beach this last week!) but I was overdue for an actual session with my almost 16 month old boy! This session focused on putting Heath to work modeling the adorable, warm and cozy winter hat and scarf set from the incredible Puntebella store (on etsy – http://www.puntebella.etsy.com/) This is for her upcoming fall and winter line and Heath loved putting the hat on and running around with the scarf. He’ll look adorable this winter wearing this with either a brown corduroy coat or a navy raincoat, and this totally puts me in the mood for fall!

Check out Puntebella‘s site for more of her incredible items and check back for new fall and winter items coming soon!

Over the Fourth of July holiday weekend I met up with this adorable, sweet and kind family who run their own working farm right here in Frederick, MD. Seated at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain, the farm raises cattle while mom and dad are raising beautiful 6 year old Ellie. Ellie adores Taylor Swift and carried her pink guitar over her shoulder for most of the session, singing away! She has the best smile, loves to dance and sing, and really really really loves her mama and daddy. The whole family is just so adorable, and I was lucky to be able to photograph their life on the farm, and then also a super fun surprise….mom’s 15 year old wedding gown! She had altered the gown and wanted some images of her on their farm to surprise her husband for their anniversary, and I was so honored to capture this for them! 15 years is so great – and with their daughter Ellie I’m sure each day is full of laughs and fun. I’m excited to share these sneak peeks below of this warm and sweet family!
