Amelia is one of my favorite little girls to photograph as I’ve gotten to know her and her beautiful family over the past year. I first photographed her at 2 in downtown Washington DC, and then met up with her again for a spring session around the cherry blossoms! This weekend we met up in the fall foliage and I had so much fun photographing them being themselves. Amelia is so beautiful and loves her mom and dad so much – I had such a hard time narrowing it down for the sneak peek! Enjoy these sneak peeks of this beautiful family!

I had the great honor and pleasure of photographing this beautiful and loving family recently as I connected with them through the Tiny Sparrow Foundation. Tiny Sparrow connects families of children battling life threatening illnesses to photographers who provide them with memories of their family being together and their children being THEM!

This beautiful family and I met up on the most amazing fall morning to photograph 4 month old Benjamin, who needs all of our thoughts and prayers as he heads into surgery. It is my honor to show these sneak peeks of this beautiful family, and a big hug to them all as they take each day at a time. We’re thinking of little Benjamin every day and hoping for the best!

When I met this family I instantly knew this session would rock. First the family is GORGEOUS, with three beautiful and adorable kids, and secondly they had the best outfits!!! I love when families wear awesome clothes as it makes the session really come to life. The weather was absolutely perfect and the leaves were just starting to change – it made for the best day! It was next to impossible to pick which images to blog as my sneak peeks – there are sooooo many incredible ones…so I picked a few that made me smile and reflect the fun side of this beautiful family. I’ve been friends with this lovely couple for as long as I can remember…Erin I met back in college when we lived on the same hall. She was by my side as we joined a sorority, studied abroad in Australia, and transplanted ourselves in DC. John I met years later but I feel like I’ve known him forever, and they make the absolute most perfect couple. Fun, social, outgoing, genuine…these two have it all. Their story continued this summer when they got engaged at a vineyard outside of DC, and are planning a wedding for this coming spring. Erin is going to make a killer beautiful bride, and John will be the perfect groom. We ventured back to one of their favorite vineyards at Bluemont Vineyard to raise a glass and celebrate their engagement. The weather had that perfect fall chill in the air, with the harvest in full bloom on the vines. Cheers to my friends Erin and John – a toast to a wonderful life together!

I was excited when I woke up yesterday morning and saw sunny skies – as this family’s first scheduled session was rained out due to the incredible amount of rain we’ve had recently. Sure enough, the day was beautiful and set up for a perfect backdrop to this lovely family. The girls are stunning – with the most beautiful big eyes and adorable hair, and their parents are pretty adorable too. They are all so genuinely happy and in love with eachother and it was my pleasure to capture that love and energy with this session. It was so tough for me to narrow it down to these sneak peeks – but these were a few of my favorites. Enjoy!
