This sweet little peanut was born on New Years day making 2012 a pretty awesome year for this sweet and beautiful family! I knew little Cayden would be beautiful after meeting his parents at their snowy maternity session. He was such a dream baby to photograph and had the most perfect little features and face. The first thing I noticed about this beautiful baby girl when I saw her was her stunning hazel eyes! She had these inquisitive eyes just checking everything out, and the warmest brightest smile you can imagine. Her parents were so sweet too and when mama wasnt making her laugh, daddy was cuddling her and keeping her happy. She was adorable at the studio today and it warmed up enough to even pop outside for some beautiful sun filled images. Enjoy these sneak peeks of this beautiful baby girl!

I have been so busy this fall that I’ve neglected to come in and post about a few exciting things going on personally with me! First and foremost is that our family is so proud and SO excited to announce we’re expecting a baby girl this March! Heath is excited to be a big brother and we are looking forward to becoming a family of 4. It’s been so fun to be back in the pregnant stage of babies again, and to relate with my maternity and newborn clients on a whole different and closer level since I’m right there with them again! I am currently booking for 2012 sessions and will be taking a short maternity leave from the middle of March until May (with a few exceptions) so if you’re interested in booking a winter or spring session I definitely recommend contacting me now as I’m filling up fast!!

While I still have just a few holiday sessions still to do for 2011, I have to say it has been an INCREDIBLE fall and I have had SO.MUCH.FUN photographing my client’s holiday photos this year. I have met amazing families and seen such love and joy – it makes my job so rewarding and meaningful to me, so thank you all for going with me on that journey. Here’s one photo from my house to yours – from our Christmas tree we just put up this week(and which heath has tried to destroy nightly) and one sneak peek from our own holiday photos that Dave helped me take the other day. Just like so many of my clients’ – I rarely get to be IN the photos so I cherish every picture taken of me with my son and family. So even though I really need to brush my hair, and you can only partially see my baby bump – it’s us!

These two sweet and beautiful sisters were so much fun to photograph! Having two sisters myself I was so drawn to the images of them together, as these are the images they will look back on when they’re older with such happiness. Their fun personalities shone through in every image, and if you yelled out ‘cookie monster’ they would both crack up laughing. This family was so adorable together and I loved the color of their outfits – perfect for the holidays but totally unique too! Enjoy these sneak peeks of this beautiful family!

Sweet baby Cullen has grown from this cute little baby from last year’s session to this adorable and fun little toddler. He is such a beautiful child – the perfect mix of strawberry blonde curls and big blue eyes, and it was so cute to watch him wander around investigating leaves and sticks and grass. He is a laid back and sweet little guy, and was such a great sport during his photosession! His family is so awesome, genuine and loving as well, and I’m so excited for them as they are expecting a baby girl in a few months!
