I had the great honor and pleasure of photographing this beautiful and loving family recently as I connected with them through the Tiny Sparrow Foundation. Tiny Sparrow connects families of children battling life threatening illnesses to photographers who provide them with memories of their family being together and their children being THEM!

This beautiful family and I met up on the most amazing fall morning to photograph 4 month old Benjamin, who needs all of our thoughts and prayers as he heads into surgery. It is my honor to show these sneak peeks of this beautiful family, and a big hug to them all as they take each day at a time. We’re thinking of little Benjamin every day and hoping for the best!

I love seeing families year after year – watching the children grow up, learn to walk and then talk…it’s amazing. I first met Callie when she was only a baby, and then saw her grow to a gorgeous 1 year old. This year’s portraits took on a whole other level of fun because she is 2 and ADORABLE! She is talking up a storm (she even described the moss on a bench as a ‘lichen’) – I mean how cool is that?! She ran all over the place laughing and would love when her mom and dad would sing to her (and offer her an occasional jellybean). I was smiling this entire session and I am excited to share these sneak peeks with you all!

I was so excited to see this family again after photographing their gorgeous maternity session, and then their beautiful baby girl’s newborn session earlier this year. I cant believe how much baby Aspen has grown, and how tall big brother Tristan is getting! Their awesome dog joined us for some great family images surrounded by the most beautiful fall setting. When I met this family I instantly knew this session would rock. First the family is GORGEOUS, with three beautiful and adorable kids, and secondly they had the best outfits!!! I love when families wear awesome clothes as it makes the session really come to life. The weather was absolutely perfect and the leaves were just starting to change – it made for the best day! It was next to impossible to pick which images to blog as my sneak peeks – there are sooooo many incredible ones…so I picked a few that made me smile and reflect the fun side of this beautiful family. I was excited when I woke up yesterday morning and saw sunny skies – as this family’s first scheduled session was rained out due to the incredible amount of rain we’ve had recently. Sure enough, the day was beautiful and set up for a perfect backdrop to this lovely family. The girls are stunning – with the most beautiful big eyes and adorable hair, and their parents are pretty adorable too. They are all so genuinely happy and in love with eachother and it was my pleasure to capture that love and energy with this session. It was so tough for me to narrow it down to these sneak peeks – but these were a few of my favorites. Enjoy!
