So I used to bribe her as a kid to play dolls (and school, and tag, and pretty much everything) with me and of course it shouldnt have surprised me that I had to drag her out of the house to take a couple quick photos. But the cherry blossoms were gorgeous today, and so (as always) was my sister, so we took these quickly before she ran away.

My mom almost gave her an out too as while we were taking these my mom reversed out of the driveway and nearly side swiped my new car. Thanks mom!

Down to day 5 of our 12 Days of Christmas Special!!!

This gorgeous couple were so fun to work with – and I love how this screams fall to me.

For this holiday mini session the stars were aligned…the rain finally cleared, the sun came out and the weather was warm, the colors on the trees were still so vibrant, and this lovely couple and their two ADORABLE poodles were just meant to be in front of my camera!! They were naturals – even the pups!! This couple is getting married next fall and their love is so apparent – you can instantly tell he just ADORES her and she can bring out the best smile in him. I love seeing couples like this!!! A big thanks to their mom too who helped corral the pups during their “model” breaks.

Life has been so crazy and hectic here with all of the holidays quickly approaching, finalizing customer orders, organizing the last of the holiday mini sessions, and getting Detterline Orthodontics up and running, that I’ve been wayyy behind on getting these fun portrait photos complete! Last weekend I met up with fellow amazing photographer friends Susan of Pretty Petal Studio and Kelly of Kelphoto to do a spin off of Trash The Dress. It was freezing cold but the gorgeous model brides managed through and were simply stunning. The location was perfection as well – gorgeous fall leaves and beautiful rolling hills – so pretty!
