Well, sort of. Heath first showed off his rolling skills at 2 months while playing on his activity mat…but then nothing - not even rocking or tilting - for the next two months. But today, on his 4 month birthday, he decided to pull this little stunt in the middle of my attempt at some 4 month photos.

Oops. I should have known better than to attempt these without a spotter…I remember all too clearly when he was 10 days old (on Mother’s Day no less) me taking him out to do some photos in a basket and he TIPPED OVER and fell on his head. He was totally fine; I was scarred for life.

So of course, just like old times, Heath decided to reach his next milestone in a grassy field with an awkward landing.

I cant believe he’s 4 months old…

They have an amaaaaaazing nursery (decorated perfectly down to the last detail) and a ridiculously adorable baby boy who is turning 1 very soon! He was such a sweetie and it was so much fun watching him laugh at his mom and dad and get SUPER excited jumping in his crib. His big blue eyes lit up with such happiness whenever we showed him his elmo toy, and he found endless fun opening and closing his diaper drawer. He kept cracking me up! His parents are super sweet too and you can tell where Baby Dominic gets his gorgeous looks from - just check out this beautiful family!

Can I still call him my newborn? Please!!? Every day I go over to his crib in the morning and peer over the side, and his little face looks up at me and smiles. Nothing melts my heart more! He’s loving swimming in the pool this summer but the bright sun seems to bother his bright blue eyes, so we’ve been taking him in after 5:00pm so he can avoid the really harsh light. He also loves to ’stand’ up and flex his little leg muscles. This is hilarious because his face contorts into a look of pure effort as his eyebrows shoot towards the ceiling and his lips purse into a circle. He’s so cute…I cant get enough.

I could stare at this little face for hours. Ok fine…admittedly this is exactly what I do.
