Sweet 11 day old Gianna was such a dream to photograph! She had the sweetest little features, the cutest lips and eyes, and such an adorable personality already! She had two very proud and excited older siblings, and she truly completes her beautiful family. I spent the afternoon cuddling baby Gianna while we tried on some of the cutest little outfits – hats and headbands made by one of my favorite etsy vendors, Puntebella, and the adorable diaper covers made by The Cuddle Loom. I was SO excited to meet little newborn Carter – as he is the highly anticipated arrival of one of my college friends Kate and her husband Charlie. Carter was everything I hoped for and more – beautiful perfect face, amazingly peaceful personality, and the best little model for me. He was such a cutie pie and I loved snuggling with him in his gorgeous nursery. We finished the session by going outside and photographing the new family around their home, and they cuddled up together on the perfect sunny fall day and hung out in their cute red porch swing. This family is happiness and love, and I so enjoyed photographing them!

When this family pulled up to our session this weekend I knew it would be a good day. The rain had cleared and the sun poked through, warming the early fall day into what felt much more like a late summer day. The kids were incredible – so well behaved and adorable…little 4 year old Ella was absolutely stunning, and loved to twirl and dance around. Baby Ian was the cutest little guy and had these great big eyes that just soaked everything in. Mom and dad were of course adorable too, and I loved their outfits, their energy, and their adventurous attitudes when it came to running across a wide open field with SUPER tall grass! This family session sums up everything I love about this time of year – the warm sunlight, past harvest fields, and lots and lots of love. Enjoy these sneak peeks of this beautiful family!

I cant believe that sweet miss Baylee is 9 months old already! She’s been one of my baby planners this year and I’ve loved watching her grow from a newborn, to a smiling 3 month old, to an adorable 6 month old, and now to a beautiful 9 month old. We met up on this perfect fall day at a local park to check out the scenery (gorgeous) and the ducks (relentless) and we had a blast wandering around. Baylee is such a precious little girl – she goes between soulful looks to big smiles and couldnt be a happier baby. I love photographing this 9 month age because they can sit, stand (sometimes) and are full of personalities…but not QUITE on the move just yet. Just wait though – I bet by the time we meet back for her 1 year photosession I will be chasing after her!

I’ve been friends with this lovely couple for as long as I can remember…Erin I met back in college when we lived on the same hall. She was by my side as we joined a sorority, studied abroad in Australia, and transplanted ourselves in DC. John I met years later but I feel like I’ve known him forever, and they make the absolute most perfect couple. Fun, social, outgoing, genuine…these two have it all. Their story continued this summer when they got engaged at a vineyard outside of DC, and are planning a wedding for this coming spring. Erin is going to make a killer beautiful bride, and John will be the perfect groom. We ventured back to one of their favorite vineyards at Bluemont Vineyard to raise a glass and celebrate their engagement. The weather had that perfect fall chill in the air, with the harvest in full bloom on the vines. Cheers to my friends Erin and John – a toast to a wonderful life together!
