My friend and fellow photographer Andrea of Andrea Roberts Photography in Denver, CO was out visiting her sister recently and wanted some updated photos of them together. I LOVE THIS IDEA!!! I have two sisters myself and we always talk about the only photos we have together are sooooo out of date. Baby Marley was so sweet, happy and alert for a 6 week old…and BEAUTIFUL! This little girl was already charming her way across the gardens during our session this weekend. People were stopping to admire her gorgeous little face and adorable outfit. She is definitely a daddy’s girl, and loves being cuddled by her mama…she was SO SWEET and adorable I could hardly stand it! Her family is gorgeous as you can see below of course, and their outfits combined with the fall colors and holiday vibe make the perfect family session. I told her parents over and over…they have the easiest baby to photograph ON EARTH!!!! Little Brooke is beautiful – has the most amazingly gorgeous deep blue eyes – and is constantly smiling and happy. We would sit her down in the leaves, and she’d just sit and smile up at us totally happy. I couldnt get enough of her adorable outfit(complete with hat and mittens), and even though it was chilly out she was a trooper and hung with us the whole time. Brooke has such a sweet disposition and her adorable family is so photogenic…they all made my job easy! Enjoy these sneak peeks of this beautiful little girl:

Those cheeks! Those lips! I couldnt get enough of sweet baby B’s adorable face. She was such an alert and sweet baby girl…she loves being held by her mama, hearing her daddy’s voice, and cuddling with her grandparents. Her 22 year old cat wasnt too sure what to think of her, but I think they’ll be fast friends soon enough. She was so cute – her little eyes would open up and peek out to see where everyone was, like she didnt want to miss the party. It was such a joy hanging out with this adorable family and seeing how much love there is for this precious baby girl. Enjoy these sneak peeks!!

I am so excited to share these images with you all. First of all because they’re of a beautiful expectant couple, on a gorgeous day with amazing sunset light, at the base of Sugarloaf mountain in the fall(what could be more perfect than that?) Secondly this family is special to me as we’ve been family friends since I was a little girl. We grew up together here in Frederick and now years later, only live a mile or two away, and we’re both having our first baby boys in 2010. Lastly I was OVER THE TOP excited when I spoke with the beautiful mama-to-be and she basically told me that I could go nuts with the creative aspect of her session, and that she was up for anything. SCORE! Apples are pretty special to this adorable family as well – this baby’s name is already picked out (and awesome!) and has a cool tie to them. Looking forward to meeting him in December for their ‘babies’ portion of their bellies & babies sessions – enjoy these sneak peeks and enjoy these last few weeks before your baby arrives!!!!!
