Love * Maryland Photographer

September 29, 2010

Love is a beautiful thing, and when I see a couple truly happy and in love it makes my day. I always get a kick out of photographing adults because we can do crazy things like climb newsstands and sit in odd places. Pam and Court kept me cracking up as we ran around downtown Frederick, chatting about their upcoming wedding and how much downtown Frederick has changed over the years. I had such a great time hanging out with these two and here’s wishing a lifetime of happiness to them! Cheers!

It’s that time of year again!!! I cant believe it myself, but here we are with the weather cooler and the leaves beginning to turn gold. Fall is my favorite time of year to photograph families outside, and now here is your chance to update your latest family photos and get cracking on holiday cards and presents. This year I’m offering a print and a digital choice so you can decide if you want to make your own cards or if you’d rather leave that work to me. The mini sessions are great for families (5 people or less) and will be held between October 7th and November 14th. Contact me to book yours! More details below:

The sessions are booked on a first come first served basis. Limited spots available, session fee due in full at time of booking.

I wanted to share a few more product photos with you as I’ve been on a roll of remembering to take their photos! Here is one of the custom designed mini accordion albums from this adorable newborn session:

And up next is the insanely gorgeous album included with my bellies & babies package. The pages lay flat and this one has a metallic custom cover. Sooooo pretty.

This sweetie pie was so much fun to run around with this weekend. The weather was perfect and he was such a great kid – and his awesome parents are blessed to be having a new baby soon to add to their fantastic family. We ran up and down the cobblestone streets of Alexandria and had a great time playing with his toy cars and discovering the different doors and walkways. Here are some of my favorites of this little cutie!

Touching base quickly to post a couple photos from our FABUUUUUUUUUULOUS workshop this weekend. I had SO MUCH FUN hanging out with Amber of Little Moon Photography and all of our amazing participants.

My favorite part by far was working with each of the students individually and watching them have moments where they learned how to rock out their own cameras. Even though the weather was icky, and our model (um – Heath) decided to spit up all over the place, we had such a great time. Here are a couple of photos I snapped right before the students arrived – Amber and I were so happy with how this turned out and we’re already in talks of doing another workshop down the road.

Thanks to all who attended and to Amber for making this happen!
