Eeeeek!!! I’ve received some adorable nursery pics and I’m so so so excited to show everyone and start the voting!!! The last day to submit your nursery photos is next Friday March 5th - so keep ‘em coming!!!

And if you didnt see the update on facebook - due to popular demand I’ve expanded the age range for babies able to enter from newborn up to 2 years! So if you have a cute nursery and an adorable baby (which I know you all do!) then send in your pics!

And since no post is great without a photo - here is one that I am working on today that just makes me happy.

Woah there…how did I make it to 30 weeks already!? Actually I’m technically at 31 tomorrow…the countdown has basically hit single digit weeks. I am (like probably every expectant mom thinks) totally and completely not prepared. But I’m sure over these next few weeks I’ll figure out the ins and outs of cloth diapering, what laundry detergent I should get and wash all the little clothes (and crib sheets that our cat keeps enjoying as her nap spot - not cool minnie, not cool), and finally read all of these baby books I keep renting from the library and using as paper weights.

I’m feeling him kick all the time now, and I love feeling his little arms and legs move around. I cant wait to meet him!!!

Today I met up with the CUTEST baby boy - little baby Bailey simply stole my heart!!!!! His sweet little lips and perfect face lit up the room…and his mama is absolutely glowing and papa is so proud! I couldnt get enough of every little feature of his - from his little feet to his cute ears…so I showed one of my detail shots below. I had so much fun hanging out with them today, cuddling with Bailey, and getting lots of (much needed) parenting tips from Bailey’s amazing mom.

Enjoy these sneak peeks!!

I spent the morning with sweet, beautiful baby Eva who was such a cutie! Eva is the daughter of two pretty amazing people, as her daddy is overseas in the military and her mama is holding down the fort here at home. Thankfully he was able to make it home on a last second flight to be here for her birth, but had to go back only a couple weeks later. Her mama and I spent the morning trying to figure out if Eva resembled her mom or her dad more (I think she’s a perfect mix of them both) but one thing is for sure - she has their strength! This little doll kept her eyes locked on everything that was going on almost the whole morning! Check out the sneak peeks below!

The roads have somewhat been cleared and thankfully our power has stayed on - but this most recent snow has completely overwhelmed our state! We had to bring three different plows in to clean out our driveway - first a pickup truck with a plow, then a larger truck with a plow, and then finally a bulldozer. And you still cant see pavement! We have drifts in parking lots and on the sides of roads as tall as 20 feet. It’s been fun to see such a record snowfall but at this point I’m wondering if it will melt by March. I took a couple photos to try to show the scale of how much snow we’ve received but it’s hard to really tell. Basically if you add up the 3 feet we got last weekend + the 2 feet we got this week, you can see how ridiculous this has become!

Here you can see how the drifts are literally almost covering our house…
