This weekend I’m at the Outer Banks hanging out with a bunch of amazing photographer friends, enjoying the sun and sand and playing musical chairs with our apple products. I am having an absolute blast and am so glad I got to meet everyone here. Tonight we headed out for a bit during sunset for some fun group photos, and managed to capture a bunch of really hilarious moments (and some beautiful ones!)

Happy Holidays! Ha!…ok I know it doesnt feel anywhere close to sleigh bells and snowflakes, but the time to start thinking about holiday cards is upon us! This fall I’m offering holiday mini sessions which are the perfect opportunity to capture that perfect holiday portrait, start checking off your gift list, and have FABULOUS cards to send out to everyone! Whether you prefer to make your own cards, or have me take care of it all for you – one of the two options will be perfect for you. Imagine how fun, calm and organized the holidays can be with this all taken care of by the time December hits! Wooohoo!

Each mini session is for up to 5 people, and all sessions must be completed by November 22nd. Your mini session date and time is secured with a 100$ deposit, and the balance is due at your session. Limited session spots available – first come first served!

On Friday I met up in Old Town Alexandria with fellow local Maryland photographer Andrea Burns of www.andreaburnsphotography.com to do a little photoshoot swap. Andrea is an INCREDIBLE photographer who awes me with her mix of studio and on location work, and it was so fun to work next to eachother for a bit and compare shooting styles and other photo talk. Often as photographers we tend to stay behind the camera, so it’s so nice to take a break and get in front once in a while! Especially of course when you have a stunning family like Andrea has, and when she’s so naturally beautiful herself! I couldnt get enough of her adorable kids and I AM IN TOTAL LOVE with their outfit choices. You can tell just from spending a short time with them that they are such a happy family full of love.
