A picture of almost all of our family on Thanksgiving – I say almost because my mom was down in the kitchen and refused to come up to the living room to be in the photo. Classic mom move! We had a great thanksgiving with friends and family celebrating the good food and company. For our family this has been a year filled with great happiness and deep sadness, but I’m so thankful for everyone in my life.

This weekend Dave and I headed out to our favorite Christmas tree farm and picked out the perfect tree – in the snow. I’m a trooper. I’d never shot in the snow before and I was happy to find some of the cool local plants looking almost more beautiful than they do in the summer. I’ll try to get some shots of our finished tree in a few – but for now here are some from our hunt.
