Well, sort of. Heath first showed off his rolling skills at 2 months while playing on his activity mat…but then nothing - not even rocking or tilting - for the next two months. But today, on his 4 month birthday, he decided to pull this little stunt in the middle of my attempt at some 4 month photos.

Oops. I should have known better than to attempt these without a spotter…I remember all too clearly when he was 10 days old (on Mother’s Day no less) me taking him out to do some photos in a basket and he TIPPED OVER and fell on his head. He was totally fine; I was scarred for life.

So of course, just like old times, Heath decided to reach his next milestone in a grassy field with an awkward landing.

I cant believe he’s 4 months old…

I’m loving the little peach fuzz on his head. He is getting so big! And yay for starting to roll over.

Sweet 2 week old baby Daniel is such a miracle. He was easy on me - cuddly, sleepy and adorable in all his newborn perfection. I got to see how excited his mama and papa were during their maternity session and now meeting Daniel was amazing. They fit together as such a perfect complete family and they’re absolutely naturals as parents. I could have held him all day long - check out this cutie pie!

I love them all, but the one with the mom looking speaks to me. I remember having my first and just looking at him. It is so simple, but I just remember how amazed I was. These are all so perfect.

Pictures are beautiful, can’t wait to see all of them. He is such a lovely baby, of course I am a little prejudice, he is my grandson!!

Life has been busy in our house - with a vacation to Indianapolis and lots of work within the past few weeks, it’s been crazy but fun. This week we took a fun break and met up with fellow photographer friends Susan of Pretty Petal Studio and Kelly of Kel Photo for a picnic at the beach. The kids had a blast and while the intent was for us to take some photographs, sadly mine didnt even make it out of the camera bag. Luckily they took some beautiful images of Heath that I’m excited to share here - first up is Susan’s.

Yes my child is pale. Yes he is a bit plump. Yes he is eating sand.

And here are two from Kelly:
He looks like a dorky old man here, but I love him.

Hello everyone!!!

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has sent in registration forms for our workshop! We have filled all the spots for our workshop and will be closing the registration link. Those who first sent their registrations in have been sent invoices and once the spots have been officially confirmed we will notify everyone else.

We have been overwhelmed with the interest in this workshop and are so excited for this initial date. Since we had so many people interested Amber and I have discussed opening up additional days in the future - so thank you for your interest and check back for more opportunities later!

Agh! I was on vacation and missed this! Please do another soon!!

And here it is - the news I’ve been so excited to share with you guys! As I mentioned earlier this week, Amber of Little Moon Photography and I are joining forces to provide you with an incredible workshop.
On Sunday, September 12th we will be offering an exclusive and intensive workshop designed to teach YOU the tips and tricks to taking your own kids’ photos. We’ve both heard from sooooooo many friends and clients how much they’d love to use their own camera but they’re either intimidated/overwhelmed with learning how to use it, frustrated with the images they do get, or just want to take their photos to the next level. We’re spending 3 hours teaching a complete workshop covering everything you can imagine on taking great images straight out of the camera, plus more. Then the last hour we will be working with you all individually to figure out YOUR camera, and you will have the chance to see us photograph a model and ask questions one on one. I cant wait!!!!! We both love to teach and are so looking forward to offering this to you all.

Here are all the details below! Space is VERY limited and secured on a first come, first served basis….so if you’re interested please submit this form here and we’ll be in touch with you with the next steps!

I’m not sure if there are spots left, or how quickly a link to pay is e-mailed……..but I submitted the form & I’m concerned that it may have been eaten by my SPAM cleaner. I would love to attend if there is a spot left!!
